One in Eight Australian’s care for another person

$2 from every registration goes towards helping Queensland carers

Dedicating their time to looking after the health and wellbeing of another, Carers make sure the person that needs them always feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Did you know that if the Queensland Government were to replace all unpaid carers it would cost over $8.3 billion in resources? You can see how that makes our unpaid carers such important people look after.

Reunite Carer Assist acts as an ‘In Case of Emergency’ touch point for the police, allowing for Reunite to arrange vital emergency care for people whose needs would otherwise be unknown.

Carers Queensland provide much needed support for these wonderful people, improving health, wellbeing, resilience, and economic security of caring individuals and families.

Reunite donates $2 from every Carer Assist registration generated in Queensland, (including renewals) to Carers Queensland to support them in this vital work.

Why we love Carers Queensland

Carers Queensland have been an extremely valuable support to Reunite, helping us to develop and promote the Carer Assist program. We have also seen first hand how hard they work to support all Queensland Carers, which is why we would like to share their wonderful services with our own members. Please don’t hesitate to contact them for advice, assistance, or more information.

Even better, refer another carer you know to Carers Queensland. After all, sharing is caring.
